Solo Christos—Christ Alone
(Creation's Fountain)

“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth:...all things were created by Him, and for Him:”—Colossians 1:16.

Some of the most profound questions of life includes, Is there God? Where did we come from? And, why are we here?

Interestingly, the Bible opens addressing these questions.

God, knowing that the message of the Bible is directed to His fallen and befuddled creatures, guided Moses to open it with the bold and straight-out declaration: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth." —Genesis 1:1. And that is quite thought provoking. The Psalmist  in concurrence will later candidly instruct, "Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves...”—Psalms 100:3.

But how did God create the world?

Answer: God created the world by His Word._ Hebrews 11:3 states that _"through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God..."—Hebrews 11:3.
The apostle, John expands: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made."—John 1:1-3. 

What or Who then is the Word of God?

Answer: _Christ Jesus is the Word of God in person. Again, the apostle, John proceeds to reveal that,  "...the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.“—John 1:14

Christ Jesus is indeed the fountain of all creation; for from Him proceed all that is: visible and invisible. He is the essence of creation, the core of it's worth in beauty and functionality, without which creation is grounded in futility—as is evident all around us. 

Christ Jesus embodies the glory, honor and immortality that was withdrawn from mankind in it's fall, but now is restored—to those who have through faith received in Him.

Although not created, Christ Jesus is the firstborn of every creature as he has been before all things, and by Him all things were made. And because He alone made it, he alone can fix it.

Therefore we see Christ alone—Son of God, fountain of creation and the redeemer of the same.

May God grant us the grace to see non other than the God-Man Christ Jesus, through whom we were made and are saved. Amen!

The Latter House's Glory II(Countless Houses of Gods)

"There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God."—Romans 3:11. Still reflecting on "The Latter House's Glory",  we ask the question: since in our last reflection we saw that right from creation God picked mankind to be His house, "how come the countless houses of God in the world today?" Coins, ancient and modern, bear a secret elegance etched into their edges. These slim edges, like threads of cohesion, bind every coin's tale of duality, uniting and separating their two-sidedness in contrasting harmony. Selah! As today unfolds with the two-sided blessings of being both the last day of the week and the first day of the new month, and as the LORD exhorts, " Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
